Here was Bart's original list of books he recommended to look at:

1) Racing Voiturettes by Kent Karslake
2) Small car racing and record breaking by Mike Hawke
3) Bugatti- a racing history by David Venables
4) The racing fifteenhunrdeds by David Venables
5) A RECORD OF GRAND PRIX AND VOITURETTE RACING By Paul Sheldon

I have 3) and 4) above.

Just purchased (but haven't arrived yet) 5) Record of A Record of Grand Prix and Voiturette Racing by Sheldon

I purchased:
Volume 2 (1926-1931) - The evolution from 2 seaters
Volume 3 (1932-1936) - The growth of international single seater racing

I did find the best prices on this series at http://www.formulaoneregister.com. Not inexpensive, but I found volume 2 at 100 pounds, whereas other British book sellers had it at 250 pounds. They have most other volumes at 60 pounds, with volume 3 at 200 pounds, so while not inexpensive, certainly more reasonable than other places. email is formulaoneregister@gmail.com and I worked with Sarah.

I couldn't find the Karslake or Hawke books yet, so I'm not sure what light they might shed on this topic.

Are there any other resources or books or websites, where I can learn more about the grand prix and voiturette races from around 1926 to 1939?

We have the list of 5 books at the beginning of this thread, but there has to be more resources out there?

It's not that easy. Building up a reliable archive / data base takes years and years of research, mainly in archives. And a good network of similar minded people, who may have the detail you are looking for.
