I am aware of that. It is the weak part of the system. i have been searching for a software solution, but to no avail.

In the beginning of this website I have uploaded a selection of photos, but did not delete them from my archives. Only recently I decided I should upload all photos, and delete them from my archives. (I use the photo software as an archive now, as I can include much more information, not just a photo). However, this caused the duplication of a number of photos.

When the photos are categorised (I think at least 600-700 photos in the mega-upload can be categorised) I can more easily delete the duplicate photos.

However, if you find a duplicate, say "duplicate" or "double" in a comment on the picture, and I will delete them asap.

I chose to upload them at once, as my photo album software that I use (Compupic) sometimes "choked" on the amount of pictures, so I wanted to get rid of them badly.

PS: I have another 600 photos on various types, but will upload them over a period of 2-3 weeks, not at once.
