What a wonderful machine. Please promise us to come back and tell what it is like to blast full throttle on the road. must be an amazing experience.

The 57S45 always has been some kind of mystery to me. No idea why, actually.

Certainly. I have the original manifolds and set of 4 Winfields from the original car, and a blower set up as well with original magnesium blower drives, oilers and the like. I have to decide which configuration the car will be built with. This discussion might perhaps be better off in the 59/50B thread, but...
The engine in 4.7L form puts out around 350HP unblown, and at least 100HP more blown.
The car is nearly finished, except for minor fabrication and building the engine. Then it needs to come apart and be built with the correct level of finish.
I would not have built a recreation of a typical Grand Prix that exists in original form, but this car has to be one of the most unique and breathtaking looking Bugattis built. Hopefully others will like to see it as well.

That sounds like a plan. It is always nice to see how a project like this is being tackled. Pictures are a great help.

450 hp. Sounds scary...

Do you have a time schedule for the completion of the car? And what colour will it be?
