Dear Friends,
In September will our book be published in English by Veloce. We are very proud, that Veloce does a lot of work to get publicity for the book. They have started a competition “sleeping beauties” in which they ask to send pictures of sleeping beauties. There are already many photos on the blog. Veloce will make a calendar with the most beautiful contributions for 2011 and the best exhibiters will get a book for free. So take your chance. If you want to join in please look at
http://velocesleepingbeauties.blogspot.com/

Good luck,

The Ex-Dovaz Bugatti T57 Coach Ventoux is sold this morning to an Austrian Museum. There were two candidates; a museum in Korea and a museum in Austria. ï'm very glad that this car stays in Europe.

The car is bought by the ex ralley driver Kurt Ritter for his museum

Very good that it stays in Europe, shame it disappears in a Museum.

and to this museum. mr. ritter has no good standing in austrian classic car-circles.
sometimes the museum is open, sometimes he tells everybody that he`s going to sell it, or move otherwhere. he also plays wrong in presenting fakes or replicas as original cars. but he still seems to have a lot of money.
try to see it, cause stainz is a 2o kn from my home

regards
mike

At last. The English version of our book "het lot van de slapende schoonheden" about the real history of the extraordinary carcollection of Michel Dovaz is going to be published in november as "the fate of the sleeping beauties". Publisher is Veloce. Kay Hottendorff, my father and I are very proud of the result.

If you want a preview: http://books.google.nl/books?id=nogpIqu ... &q&f=false

If you have any other questions about the book, ask my father: ard@opdeweegh.eu

And of course Michel Dovaz is very pleased, that the real history is published worldwide after more than 25 years.
