The funny part is , I ,the complete outsider , did know the answer bevore I ask . I wanted to know how much the Bugatti insiders know about it bevore the lawyer game starts .

Aristocratic or acedemic title not required. You just need to know that Bugatti never welded up his chassis frames

As an aside to my coment that Bugatti probably made his own prototype chassis,Every T73c chassis that I have inspected [ all five of them ] and the T73 road car frames also were clearly hand beaten over formers.There are very clear hammer marks all over the areas where one would expect work to be done,and the radii are not totally consistant.Of course these frames were made in Paris when the factory was there during the last war.

Greg , you did misunderstand it . I did say , all the reproduction frames I did look at show welding .
