The owner listed in “The Bugatti Book” of a type 44. His address was given as Sportstraat 94, de Helder, Holland. The car (44672) had been fitted with a red open two-seater body resembling a 1938 Chrysler. Its rear end had been lowered by putting axle and springs upside down.

Could one of our Netherlands contributors advise on the correct spelling of this gentleman's name ?

So double A. This is also the most common spelling for this name.

Herman, do you have a copy of the Dutch Bugatti Register? You don't by any chance have a spare one do you? If not, want to sell yours? No?
