After 3 days in bed with the worst bout of flu ever, this was just the kind of pick-me-up I needed. Is the advertiser the famous Bunty, or is Bunty the son? The car looks very familiar, do you know the chassis number?

I am in the process of treating myself to a high-speed internet connection at home, so I should be able to bore you all silly on a more regular basis.

thats was the famous "bunty" . famous for bying rolls royce hearses and converting them into tourers. Ive also read in an article, that his wife used
to go shoping to the nearby village in her T 37 bug.

One of the facts of my life is that I experience people and places by reading about them. Bunty may no longer be with us, but he lives on in the various articles about him I have. What marvellously eccentric characters both him and his Good Lady were, and even though I never met them, I truly loved them both. Reading is my favourite pastime; through books and magazines I get to meet the great characters and attend the great motoring festivals. I have never been to either France or Great Britain but that does not stop me from enjoying everything from the Le Mans Classic, Goodwood, Prescott or, a particular favourite this, Classics on the Common.

My portal to this wonderful world is through Classic & Sports Car; this Forum, a few other websites (The Bugatti Page in particular) and, of course, my books. And in return I serve the Greater Good by writing, my second favourite pastime. When I was younger reading and writing was second and third, but that was a long time ago............. very long ago.

With the passing of Dr. Williamson, his collection is to be sold to the highest bidder. This does not surprise me, what does, is how much I grieve for this man. He lived in the American state of New Hampshire, he loved Bugattis and he enriched my life in doing so. As I grow older, so I will bid farewell to all my heroes, and then I, in turn, will kick the bucket. So while I am still able to do so, allow me the honour of saying to all those who have served The Noble Automobile, in whichever way : Because of You, my life is Splendid.
