I heard that the car was broken up. I know where is the original rear axle of that car.

I have now confirmation from the owner of the T35 fitted with the original rear axle of 51144. The T51 was broken up in the south of France in the 1950's. His T35, that he owned for over 35 years, has the rear axle, the gear box and the wheels from 51144.
Some other parts of that T51 went in other Bugatti.
P. Laugier tracked down most of the parts of that T51, so for more information wait for the next Laugier's publication on T51.

Which unfortunately has been delayed a bit I heard from Pierre-Yves Laugier. He is still working on it. But that gives us time to save up for this book.
