1) Vincenc Junek > not Čeněk Junek. Why not?

Čeněk is diminutive Vincenc frequently used when Juneks raced.

Nürburgring 17th July 1927. Car 21 Elisabeth Junek type 35C, 35T or type 35B
on the picture with compressor.

not 4328 > T35
not 4329 > T35
not 4815 > T35T
not 4572/4831 > T35

can be 4868 > T35B ex Targa Florio with #58 ?

Definitively #4831 as T35C. Although factory files list #4831 as unsupercharged T35 I have my doubts about this. The Juneks owned already #4572, a T35. Why substituting by another - technically identical - car? Junek already in September 1926 bought #4815, a supercharged T35B. In order not to compete in the same class Eliska's car was a 2 litre, but I am quite sure that they opted for the new supercharged version. It was usual that their cars had been ex works cars, which always had been a bit more power, and built with more care than the standard customer versions. The first T35C had been entered by the factory for the GP di Milano in September 1926, Costantini's car then had been sold to Aymo Maggi, but no sale reported for that of Goux. Therefore my believe is that it went to the Juneks as #4831.

Another possibility is that the engine was replaced in summer 1927 at Molsheim. At Praded on June 19 the car had an engine breakdown (if I remember correctly a broken conrod), and went by train to Molsheim for repair and general overhaul/service. Most probably it was directly delivered to the Nürburgring, as in a period magazine article Eliska reports that they drove to the Ring in the training car (= #4328).

Fact is that #4831 carried the some bodywork as its predecessor #4572, namely one of the special tourer bodies used by the factory T39 for the 1925 "GP l'ACF Touring". The T39 after that had been rebodied with standard GP coachwork for the Italian GP, and the surplus bodies used for customer cars. There are reports that Junek cheated the custom authorities by bringing #4572 to Molsheim "for repair", and returned with #4831 disguised as #4572. However, considering his wealthyness this sounds rather unlikely.

I do not believe that the 4328 changed three times of number de registration : NR 498, NV 433 and NV 437

The comments given to the photographs are can be inaccurate, or then it is not the good photograph. The errors on the books are possible.

These details are can be important to confirm the presence of such or such bugatti with each meeting.

4328 or 4329? It is not certain

4572 and 4831, or 4572/4831?

Many enigmas, not unquestionable answers
