some time has been gone since news about the "arlette collection" spread the news. but what really happened to the cars?
some have been brought to a czech dealer ( see www,prewarcar.com)
a delage, the steyrs, a cord, a 2o`s fire engine and a T-ford.

others, like the buccialli/mathis or the veritas are said to have been sold before the death of arlette. most of the bugattis should??m go to the peetr mullin collection? but the rest??the ultra-rare darl.mart, the heavy lorraine fire-monster, the T57 woody???

who knows?

I think Christian Huet bought the Mathis with the body from a Buccialli body quite a while back.

Indeed a lot of cars went to the neightbourhood of Praque. The bugattis and some more - see my article in the Bugatti revue - were brought to France. Most of them were sold to Peter Mullin, who will exhibit them unrestoren in his new museum in Oxnard, California.

Just, that Peter Mullin is going to establish a new museum in Oxnard. I know the guy who sold the cars to Peter Personnaly. I can ask him.

At the moment Arnoud and I are investigating the Schlumpf affaire. A very complicated case. We are at the moment in contact with the lawyer of Arlette, the guy who wrote Arlette memoires and indirectly with the son in law of Arlette. Arlette was a friend of a very good French friend of mine.
The pieces of the puzzle are falling in their place. But I think it will need still much investigation, because it will be painfull for the French justice, the trade union and the bourgoisie of Mulhouse. On the case we ha written an article, that will appear in the februari edition of Automobile Quarterly.

In the Bugatti revue are some photos we took back in August in France of the collection

Just today we got the final green light to come to Mulhouse and to film and photograph the reserve collection of the Schlumpf museum. So in a few weeks we'll go to the Alsac. It seems, that there are several interesting Bugatti in this reserve.
