Lancefield built three sport saloon bodies on T46 chassis', this one being the sportiest of the three. Engine number 434, still with the car, Col Giles acquired her 18/10/1936 in faultless condition with 9000 miles on the clock. This one was christened Fanny and Giles describer her as his "very fat and pompous baby." Survived until 1978 when Australian vandal Max Roberts destroyed the original body, giving the usual justification for his criminality : "The body was in poor shape." It survives, but not well.
