Does anybody know the Type 57 Ventoux consigned to Coys Monaco sale (Lot 230)? http://www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php? ... &id=56270# At first sight does not look like the same car as the Wiki entry of the same chassis number. Can anybody shed any light? |

No idea. 2 possibilities: -1. Stolen identity. Can only be checked by comparing frame numbers. more likely in this case: -2. Body change. The text tells us the car has undergone "thorough restauration" in which case it is very well possible that the car lost its original James Young body, and a (new or old) Ventoux body, which many people find more appealing, is fitted. |
