It would be nice to see that radiator fitted on one of the former Malmerspach T57s which lack of radiator: 57224 Galibier Van Vooren, 57297 Coach Ventoux and 57535 Galibier Graber (If some day we are able to see one of those cars complete and restored, I would bet on 57297, since usually unrestored Galibiers' fate is to be destroyed to fit new open sports bodies).

It is said, that peter mullin would`nt restore the bulk of the schlumpf cars. maybe the two or three ones, that were kept by braam-ruben and vendiesse will be restored.

I think that too much money is necessary to buy those cars and to restore immediately all of them at the same time; but, in the future, I suppose that little by little the cars in the Peter Mullin's collection will be finally restored.

However, according to a piece of information which can be read on Jaap Horst's Bugatti Page (see http://www.bugattirevue.com/revue35/malmer.htm - Future of this collection) some of the cars with Galibier body would not go to the Peter Mullin's collection, but would stay to be sold in Europe. I am afraid that those Galibier bodies will not be either restored or kept in their current condition, but destroyed to fit new bodies, as usually happens with all the Galibier survivors.

Oh yes, let's turn another Galibier into a skimpily bodied roadster, or better, a hotrod!

Such a shame...

Well, buy a Galibier now, keep it in a barn for a couple of decades, and when it is the only one it will be worth millions.

Strangely, especially the last series Galibier is one of my favourites!
