hello the photo site (french bugattis/ T13`s) show a picture of a "unknown" bugatti T13. this is # 484, when it was owened by it`s discoverer/restorer a Mr. Podubecky from the czecholsovakia. He found the car in the 5o`s when used as a farn-cart. he restored it as well as possible you can do it in a former comunistic land without much money. so he used a cut-dpwn T4o radiator, the rims of a motorcycle and many other parts of various scores. he sold/changed the car in the 6o`s to fritz schlumpf, bought ( maybe this was part of the deal) a new Fiat, but soon afterwards crashed with it to death, fallen asleep while driving home. regards mike |

dont blame me, but it`s nice, that schlumpf did`nt restore the car back. so yaou can see for ever, how enthusiasts brought back derelict cars without having missions of $. as far as I know, mr. podubecky once was owner of a large estate, which was later confiscated by the comunist government, leaving him as a poor worker on his former estate. maybe for that reasons, he did`nt take money from schlumpf ( which he had to return to the state), but the new fiat. regards mike |
