The book "les véhicules hors série" by Borgé&Viasnoff contains a story (P. 109-111) about a T40 that was converted to 24 V electric operation because of poor availibility of petrol in during WW2. At the same time it was converted into a utility pickup / camionette. After the war the car is converted back again, but then as a pickup with a Citroen 11 CV body.
The story incorrectly states the car having a 6 cilinder engine.
The French registration of the Bugatti was 3513 RB 3
I wonder if this car still exists ?
