This seems to be all the information available on this intriguing motor-car, does anybody know the history of the coachwork? I'm fairly sure this is not how it looked in 1933 but the date of the modifications is unknown (to me), I don't know whether this is a new body or the old one rebuilt nor do I have a clue what it looked liked originally. Any and all opinions, facts, factoids or, ye verily, photographs would be much appreciated.

Not quite the same flair as 50146 in my own not entirely humble opinion :

Kind Regards

Hi Johan,

Please tell me what happens to the fenders of the original 50146.
They are perhaps now fitted on the Louwman T50 /T46 coach profilee?
Look at the pictures before and after the restauration at Harrah.
There are rumours between the 2 chassis numbers, nice point of investigation.
Don't forget the engine, the engine in the T50 is replaced to a Jaguar one.
Are some jigsaw pieces found there place??

Greetz,
Jean B

In which T50 is the Jag engine?

I believed the T50 was considered lost? (not checked, could also be 57385, or both?)

50146 is the one rumoured to have a Jaguar engine. Now I'll go and compare fenders .............. or catch a game on tv.

Hi Johan,

The Louwman T46 coach Profilee, why is there a luggage compartiment behind the coach you can't open or from the inside or from the outside?
The rear fender, the line is complete different as the photographs at the Dobbeleers in the 50's.
Are these modifications made by Bill Harrah in the sixties using parts from the 50146?

There is a very rare book from the late 70's from the german oil company Veedol, with many full scale photographs from te Harrah T50, including the dash firewall with the plates.
Find the book, it messures approx 400mm by 600mm with very nice photographs.
The book is called Classic cars, and did have a silver cover.
I got 2 copies, but sold one in the early 80's the other in the late 90's.

Greetz.

the T46 before Harrah.
Look at the rear fenders of the car.
Or the fenders are washed with the wrong wax and shrunk, or...Harrah did.

The car does look less heavy with the "clipped wings"!
