Bugatti Front axle

Hello,

I have a question about a Bugatti front axle owned by a friend of mine.
I don't know exactly what it could be !
The brake diameters are 400mm
The diameter of the front axle is 46mm
The track of the axle is 140cm
The hub is a rudge 42mm
The distance between the two brakes is 1m24.

what it could be ?

It is most probably a Type 44 front axle..

A friend of mine could be interested to purchase... if for sale.

Please tell me ...

This is certainly NOT T44.
Real track is probably 1.35mm and then it is T57.
The quoted 1.4m put me on the wrong direction.

Real track is probably 1.35mm and then it is T57.
The quoted 1.4m put me on the wrong direction.

did the T57 have 42mm rudge hubs? and did they go to 52mm for the T101?

Yes, the T57 has 42mm hubs.

front axle is identified !
It is a 57 first version chassis 57107 !
What do you know about this serial number ?
