Greetings

This is my first post to this forum and I would like to point out that both Mr B Simon and Mr Laugier state that Bugatti T57S 57492 does not survive.

I do not really believe this information to be news to any of you, but I just needed to tell a group of Bugatti enthusiasts that I am in the lucky position to own both Mr B Simon's and Mr Laugier's book on the Type 57S.

Unfortunately I do not understand a word of French, so I need Mr Fatio's English supplement rather urgently. Can somebody kindly advise me?

Has Mr Laugier been able to find a publisher for his Type 55 yet? And the Type 51?

Last question: Is Mr Price's book on T46 & T 50 the only literature
specifically dealing with these 2 Types?

Did I mention I have both Mr B Sim...........oh, yes I did.

Spoke to Mr Laugier at the Molsheim meeting. Book about the type 51 is the first we can expect from him. Not expected to be publisched before 2009… Type 55 book will be published after the type 51 book(s).

As far as I know the Price book is the only book describing both the T46 & T 50. The “Doubles Arbres” Book has some nice information about the type 50 (And 51,54 55 57)

A new book on the T46 is to appear at Retromobile, by Bohuslav Klein. Roland Saunier and Kees Jansen.

Have spoke to Roland Saunier at the Molsheim meeting. The book about the type 46 will have the same high quality as the 57S books by Simonson and the Laugier book… Cant wait….
