I don't think its great looking - it was originally a factory saloon but some vandal decided thet they could do better and replaced it with a body that looks nothing like anything ever fitted to a T44. |

Thank you very much for this information. Do you know what happened to the original coachwork? It would be a pity if a viable body was removed to make way for the replica coachwork. Regards Johan Buchner PS. Herman a great many of us do not have a clue how to post photos. Please provide very simple, step-by-step instructions. I'm South African - we are a stupid people. |

I do not necessarily agree with you. It seems to me to be a period body, probably from later date than the chassis, but still a part of automotive history. There are some T57-design clues, especially to the fenders. But then, the T44 was the predecessor of the T57. There are few recent bodies that are put on original chassis, but most of the time these are replicas of the original factory body (like the grand sport), removing a nice period body from another coachbuilder. |

More photos here, from the 2007 Colorado Grand. I can tell you that the car is very fast and is fitted with an overdrive. http://web2.sendtoprint.net/proofbook/c ... =1018&js=1 |

![]() Try going to www.coloradogrand.com , then click on the photo of the Delahaye, when the next page opens click on the photo of the Allard and then click on car #95 from the list on the left side of the page. I think that there are six pages of photos for this car. cheers, Ron Hetherington |
