Post subject:  adjusting t35 carburettors

I have tried the search for this but nothing came up...
What adjustment is there for the barrel-boisseau carbs for rich/weak ness and float level for example.
thanks

You change the jets, for the type 35 with twin Solex barrel-throttle carbs you need .45 idle jets, 130 main with the air bleed holes .95mm dia, 5mm from the top of the jet. this is important to get smooth pick-up from low revs. Float level should be about 2 - 3 mm below the top of the jet. Check by mounting the float chamber/jet holder with the jets outside the choke tube so you can see the fuel level. Choke tubes 26mm. could send a drawing of the jet if you give me your address.

Sorry, should have said .135 main jets. Hope you got my email with more explanation.
