T73C Motor under test

Here are a couple of shots of the T73C engine about to undergo basic tests before dyno test.

John that looks lovely I do find that engine very visually appealing, in fact Bugatti rarely did ugly.

Yes it is nice.Sedgewick once wrote of the facel vega facellia engine "neat nightmare" and of the facel 6 Healey motor " unsightly cure" Now that the obvious design/manufacturing problems are sorted the engines work well.Tom Darks car bears witness to that.

Number and designation I will give ? Bugatti called it a Type73C engine what is wrong with that ? It replaces the original Type 73C engine for my car [which i still have ] which was totally frost damaged in 1947.My original is number 4.I have numbered this engine also 4.The original block will always stay with the car.Sadly I do not have the technology to make videos.[only engines]

I'm not a Saint Inquisition. I consider it as a continuation of the history. In hostory of art are known such a situations were pieces of art were resumed from oryginal models or matrix. The date of resume define the origin those new pieces of art. One of aspects was to show this art to wider publicity. It means it was shown it many places in the world. I case of sculpture and graphic artist defined himself the numbers of planned pieces. But not always the edition was used by the artist. So I think that the number "4" was only the momentary amount. In this case the resume depends only on the decision. So I think that the history is not finished yet, Dear John.
