Respect for Uwe who is loading al this pictures and info one by one into "our" system.

What would really show some respect is if he actually asked before copying all of the pictures from my site without giving any credit to where they have come from. I have spent a lot of time building a relationship with LAT who own the images, they aren't that keen on the photos appearing un-credited and un-linked to.

Totally agree with Austin. I thought the same last night, but was not in the mood for an argument. It is really scummy to take someone elses hard work in this fashion.

I have lots of information coming up that I want to donate to various people including this site in some cases. Acting like a parasite is no way to engender good will to people who have spent considerable time and money in researching aspects of Bugatti history and offering it to the wider World. Makes me think I will either restrict the information I have found or totally keep it to myself. Has the person who has gone to all the effort of cutting and pasting these pictures taken the effort to employ a translator, spend weeks researching archives, travelled to Paris and Molsheim? Doubt it. Bad form, pure and simple.

I have not seen an example on the wiki of photos not being linked or properly credited?
That is key to the format of the register.
It may be that there are some that I have missed but Bugatti69 does a very good job of managing the wiki entries.
If there are any unaccredited then any registered user is welcome to add the credit, that is both the strength and weakness of the Wiki format.

There are credits in there now, they aren't what they should be but it's a step in the right direction I suppose.

If anyone who can reads this they should be "LAT/www.austinharris.co.uk".

Please do not forget that the Bugatti Register is not a public site. It is merely a sharing among friends, separated from the Internet by means of a username and password.

This is explicitly mentioned on the frontpage, and it is the only reason the register can exist as it is.

The point is permission should have been asked first.
