Does anyone knows the Engine Number of Chassis No: 44784 in the photo section of the Bugattibuilder.com please? I'm trying to sort out what the chassis number is on the 1929 Bugatti T44 Semi-Profilee Chassis No: 44784.

I gave the exclusivity to Mr Kees Jansen of the 44784 engine's number, because, himself (and he is not the only one) made a mistake in his last register (Bugatti Register The Netherland Vol.2), about 44784. So he will be able to re-write the truth.
I will keep for me any information until his vol.3 publication!
The true 44784, witch is mine, has nothing to do with this Spanish profiled coach, and any of it's numbers is private at this time (to avoid any other falsification in the future).
I am sure you will understand my reserves...

44784 needs no more publicity, it is mine, and not for sale! Mr K. Jansen tries to write only about cars he saw in the Netherland. You don't find it in the vol. 3, that's perfect! K.J. never saw my car because it always stayed in France. But have a look on a "famous spanish" type 44 with black (black and white when it was in the Netherland ) body profiled coach in vol. 3 ? And what is now it's frame number..?

44784 is not mentioned in voll 3 other than to see p104 in voll 2 .

On the wiki both are listed as '44784' 1&2 where is the confusion start?

Bugattibuilder changed his listing, it's a progress... Perhaps Wiki is waiting after Kees Jansen, I don't know. The problem exist since 1981(Centenaire EB), the profiled coach changed his chassis number, 441074 became 44784 because of problem with the owner of the true 1074...and now it use my own chassis number (new number stamped during the swiss life of the car, says KJ). This car has no number, or only one: the number he had in 1972, when it was sold at St Cloud near Paris by Remi Ader, the expert was J-M.C..
