Electric engine?

Just joking, it sounds agressive without the dampers. Can;t wait to see it in the car.

My suspicision still is that it is an electrical engine. Why the 2 batteries otherwise? :)

Two batteries=24 volts on 12 volt starter.Result=very fast turnover of engine. As the carburettor is 3 KMs from the combustion chamber it helps.

wonderful moment when it first started..enjoy as it is the unique moment..
presume when in the body it will use a kygas system rather than 24v...?

There is no onboard electric starter so I will have to fit the kigas system, otherwise I will have to tow it for miles.Sadly I forgot to drill the boss on the manifold for Kigas! I will have to take off the manifold and drill it.There is a side input for a remote electric starter, but with so many other things to sort out I never got around to finishing it.There is a bevel drive gear on the clutch to gearbox shaft.I notice that the same system is used on the "Cork" car at Goodwood.
