A friend has compiled his personal register of BUGATTIS (excluding Duttons, Allens, Pur Sangs, Hoskins, Tulas, Jones's etc. etc.) Here is his entry for the above car : 1680 A type 23 fittted with engine 75, a 30mm Zenith carburettor, an SEV magneto and a 13x45 rear axle supplied to the “Magazin Paris” with a factory invoice dated 15th May, 1923. The car has remained in long-chassis format fitted with a three-seater torpedo body and its original engine. In 1974 it was listed with H. Fougeaud, in Brie, France and in 2006 was listed with M. Brabant in Belgium. Any additional information welcome. |
