It is a new picture for this site, so I have no reference.

Post subject:  Accuracy of information.

Your wiki data base is a brilliant concept but it will only succeed in the long term if a higher level of accuracy prevails than at present.

Could I suggest that information that is uncertain should be placed within brackets. This is what has been done in the Registers produced by the English Bugatti Club.

I am working on that.

I would like to introduce mentioning the source on the data given (if the data is to be treated as confirmed).

Basicly it would need the data to be split in confirmed and unconfirmed data, with the confirmed data the source of the data needs to be noted.

Of course there are still errors that will leak in, as sources that are to be considered as trustworthy, can be wrong at times as well, causing errors to live on for even decades. I hope the WIKI will be the tool to iron out these errors.

Some time this week or the next I hope to at least treat one or two chassis numbers with a new formatting, highlighting the confirmed data, and mentioning the sources.

But please feel free to jump in and edit the WIKI as needed. I get a lot of comments from people who claim there are errors on the WIKI, but when I mention that they are free to correct them, nothing happens...
