Christian, is your user account on the Photo section also "bugatti69"? Could you try to log out and then log in again, does that work?

Thank you Jeroen, I can reach “Photo” of bugattibuilder by disconnecting my pseudo “bugatti69”. It is very well thus and I will not put any more comments.

I'd rather not put myself in the middle of the debate, but I'd still think that Christian has a very good question: There were many photographs with comments, sometimes even with a short debate in verious comments.

Have these now all been deleted? (I can't find a comment anymore, but of course I did not look at all the photographs.

Why?

Can these comments somehow be recovered?

The comments were very useful, often stating a chassis number with a certain car, or the date of a race etc.

I can upload a photo, and can delete it again (the comments are then logically also gone).

Initially, of the comments which I had put on photographs put by UWE were removed.

After having given these comments,
UWE removed in particular the photograph by what I had again put of the comments.

It is not only once!

Why?

Dans un premier temps, des commentaires que j'avais mis sur des photos mises par UWE ont été supprimés.

Après avoir remis ces commentaires,
UWE a supprimé spécialement la photo par ce que j'avais mis de nouveau des commentaires.

Ce n'est pas qu'une fois !

As you know, photos from books or personal photos, or photos from the Internet have a copyright. If so that there can be such photos, so I delete them again. All photos published Bugattiregister, hopefully they get in no trouble.
I've uploaded 10522 photos, how many you? My work and this topic are now done for me

There are also on bugattibuilder much photographs which come from bugattiregister.

bugattiregister has more than 4000 pages, that is to say more than 4000 Bugatti are described there, and by considering that there are on average 4 to 5 photographs by Bugatti, that made 16000 to 20000 photos minimum which were put in source especially of Internet of course and according to information of the registers of Bugatti which were published. Did you ever receive a request to remove a photo, becaue of copyright?

Mes observations pour information (en français pour plus de clarté) :

Quand des photos avec copyright sont téléchargées sans mention du copyright ou nom de l'auteur, sur un site internet ou un forum, elles deviennent publiques. C'est souvent le cas et elles se retrouvent sur d’autres forums. Si le copyright ou l’auteur est mentionné sur la photo et se retrouve téléchargée sur un site web à usage non commercial ou publicitaire, elle est utilisée à titre d'information et c'est le cas pour bugattibuilder, et aussi pour bugattiregister qui les publie en format réduit et souvent recoupées à un format habituel. Elles sont parfois téléchargées pour être utilisées à titre d’information sur d’autres forums ou sur Facebook, mais toujours dans un but non commercial ou publicitaire.
Si la mention copyright n'apparaît pas pour une photo signalée comme protégée, dans ce cas il est recommandé de préciser le nom de l'auteur. Pour beaucoup de ces cas j'ai demandé l'autorisation de les publier. Certaines ont été enlevées à la demande d'un auteur et remplacées par d'autres, cela s'est produit seulement 2 fois en cinq ans. Dans d'autres cas, la précision de l'auteur a été ajoutée dans les formes demandées par l'auteur, avec le rajout d'un lien pour accéder à son site particulier.
Aucune photo d’ouvrages publiés en librairie a été reproduite par mes soins par scanner (j’ai plus de 80 ouvrages et registers sur Bugatti qui me servent seulement de documentation) elles ont été trouvées incidemment sur des forums ou autres site Internet sans indication de la source, et notamment sur bugattibuilder. Sur bugattibuilder depuis quelques temps il est maintenant précisé le nom de la source à « Photo crédits » souvent le nom d’un autre forum sans autre précision, cela ne précise pas le nom de l'auteur et il n'est souvent pas possible de retrouver la photo sur le forum indiqué.

Je précise que cette rigueur n’était pas parfaitement appliquée il y a plus de 4 ans sur bugattibuilder mais aussi sur bugattiregister qui donne maintenant plus de précisions, mais depuis beaucoup de choses ont changées notamment sur bugattiregister, qui se trouve moins exposé par la réduction des images à un format habituel ou recoupées, ce qui est moins recherché pour un but commercial ou publicitaire ! Il se peut qu’il reste encore quelques photos protégées sur les 16000 à 20000 publiées sur un total de prés de 4000 fiches environ.
