Don't think so. Grammont was still very young when having his fatal accident at Grenoble. Should have been a small child during WW1.

Could the name Grammont have been rendered incorreactly ? GRAMONT, Duc de. An early friend and supporter of Ettore who helped find him a small factory during the 1stWorld War where he developed his aero engine programme. GRAMMONT, Edouard. A motor cycle and Bugatti racer using the pseudonym “Eddoura”. He was killed at Grenoble in 1930. |
