101504
1951 Paris motor show. (1952 ?) Engine C-101-504. Cotal electrically operated gearbox. Van Antem bodywork. De Dobbeleer exported the car to USA. Robert Stanley. Hurrah collection. 20/08/97 ; Owned by Jacques Harguindegy who reported that engine had never been “opened” and that all the car’s bodywork was still in original condition. Nicholas Cage. Offered for auction on 9th March, 2002, recorded mileage, 11369 km. Plexiglass slightly crazed in places. (The car is listed as having carried the UK reg. no. GV 5601 at some time).

An extract from a forthcoming book relating to Ettore's second wife

Geneviève Delcuze :

"......the bad relationship that existed between Roland, the titular head of the Bugatti family and Geneviève was one of many factors which contributed to the difficulty of running the Molsheim plant and the demise of car production. She subsequently married paper magnate René Bolloré who, in 1951, commisoned an Antem-bodied type 101 (101504) for her personal use. She has lived with him in Hyeres in the south of France since the early sixties and bought up her two children there".

As I have never read an obituary of Geneviève or her husband I assume they are both still arrive.

Does anyone know whether she has ever recorded her memories relating to the Bugatti years or whether there is an intention by her successors to tell her story ?

Is the coachbuilder Antem or Anthem ?
