It seems strange to hear this from the admin of the site, but it keeps amazing me at times.

This morning my father left for the Essen Classica show. He telephoned me, and I happened to be behind a computer:

Hello Herman, I am at Essen now, and I am standing next to a Bugatti. Your uncle is buying it for you now. (kidding...). It is a Bugatti type 57, chassis number 57158, with a James Young body. Engine number is 6692. It is a 2 door saloon. Do you have photos already?
I immediately checked the WIKI, and there she was. I told him the data that I had on the car. (London Motorshow show car, best of show Essen Classica 2007, etc)

So far, so good.

The amazing part: I told him which events this car attended, and the Essen 2008 show was already in the list, added by Octagon Fox yesterday. How up-to-date can the WIKI be?

Truly amazing!

Thank you all!!

Herman,

You're welcome. I went to Techno Classica yesterday and took my camera with me (fortunately, last year I forgot it, so I have no pictures of the Binder Royale presented there in 2007). When I got home, I thought I could upload the images and add the information to the Wiki.

It amazes me too, I've just been looking at The Bugatti Page and in the 'Events' section saw that a T59 (BC 123) is coming up for sale. So I went to WIKI to see if there is anything on it, and the auction date has already been added!

Interestingly enough, if you click on the link to the Houston Classic Auction, you'll see a heading : 'New. Auction Inventory.' Click on it, enter 'Bugatti' into the search engine and then click : 'read more.' They have included the whole history of this car.

Does anyone know how good a replica this is? How much is it likely to fetch compared with one of the 4 real ones?

Thanks
Johan
