 Post subject: T57 Stock car racer: pics can be shocking.

I just received these pics from a friend from Ferrarichat.com.

This is likely to be T44 #44596 used as a stock car racer, raced by Jean Gueydon.
Pics were taken at Huveaune stadium and raced by the Gueydon brothers.

They are in "memoirs of a Bugatti Hunter" by Antoine Rafaelli, togehter with a good story about stock car racing...

Indeed shocking...

Lovely patina , don't you think? Speaking of "Memoirs of a Bugatti Hunter" I don't think I've thanked Michael Muller for recommending this book yet; You were so right Michael, this is truly a fascinating book about a fascinating man. From finding cars for Fritz Schlumf to his dealings with a young Alain Prost, Antoine Rafaelli has lived a passionate life.

I love books that turn out to be such unexpected treasures, and Michael if you have any other suggestions (about book choices, that is..... ), I would really like to hear from you.
