I agree . 2 big guys in a GP looks like a joke . But not everybody has the money for a big Bugatti .

Driving a GP car with a passenger is similar to :

Two guys playing one Stradivarius .

Like dating a super-model lugging around your best friend on the date as a threesome.

Like going over the rapids in a canoe with a fat man with no rowing abilities.

It's like sky jumping with an elephant on your back.

It's like killing two stones with one bird.

I could go on and on.....

A GP car is made for one person -period. Sharing one is only a slight sign of Humility that is a worthless effort for a car built for the selfish. You all know who you are out there !

Even with the extra weight of a passenger, it's no fun. This makes a huge difference in every part of it's driving and handling performance. The ''single'' driver aspect is what makes the car ''magic'' .

I saw the Lyon GP this May, and with two people one can't even enter a corner and power slide the car around the curves in the wet. The car is too heavy on the wheels, and the driver has no room in the car to swing his weight required to ''Play'' the car as it was meant to play. With a passenger you can not position yourself with the steering wheel during the actions ''full-on'' driving. You would elbow your passenger, giving him the proper hint .

I found also that over 100 kilos in a GP car is about max. Thus, I have stopped eating cheese and bread, and am converting more a liquid diet of wine to remain lighter.

I think this is enough of a topic for a new and interesting, and fun thread ! BECAUSE it's getting BORING OUT THERE as Johnny gets older and BECOMES a dull boy. Someone please post some good pictures of 2 people in a GP car. And do a poll !

I thought we arranged to go for a ride in your T51 soon. I'm not small, so that will not look to nice from behind....

If necessary I'll go like this:

Helps weight distribution also.

dual use ! You also can make Grappa with it . Bugatti engines are always a little strange . Remember he was an artist not an engineer .
