According to the English Bugatti Club in their Register (p.220) this is an original type 35B rather than a "replica" type 35B/R. This chassis plate number was issued on 04 04 94. This was a very cheap "Bugatti". Like many other things some Bugatti prices have come down since the global recession caused by our American sub-prime con merchants took grip. In France a nice original body type 23 offered for sale for 145,000 euros was down to 120,000 before being snapped up by an Eastern European dealer for 105,000. In England a type 44 with non-original but pretty roadster body purchased for £100,000 GBP from Norway last year was sold by internet auction for only £93,000 GBP to a Collector from the Czech Republic. The price included a brand new crown-wheel and pinion still in Factory boxing. The seller had no offers at all from England. t |

Do you have more information / pictures on the cars you mention, maybe chassis numbers? |
