This must be taken at the first International Bugatti Rally, organised by the Bugatti Club Nederland, in 1956. This is at the chateau d'Ermenonville, still owned by the Bugatti family in those days. There also still was the Bugatti Airplane sitting in one of the side buildings of the chateau.

The car of course is from a Dutch owner, I should check the Dutch register to know who is it, and what chassis number.

I categorised this picture yesterday, so I have the chassis number. however, clicking the photo only gives the full size image, not the rest of the data. I guess I will have to alter the software, that generates the links...

Added that to my todo list.
