Wooden pattern for engine 251 . Not sure about the 72 and all the other writing . Maybe a casting for the Valve Cover . Other side , EB Bugatti .

72 is the part (drawing) number. MOT means it is a part from the engine (motor). When the reserve collection was given back to Arlette Schlumpf, they contained lots of Bugatti patterns. I think John Barton owns most of the 251 patterns.

Probably for the logo on the valve cover.

There are no other ellipses on the engine, it seems. What does the other side of the pattern look like?
