I understand that some cars were set up with a center gas pedal and brake on the right side. Does anyone know which cars were set up this way?

Type 30 definately. Do not know about other types, but I am sure others will fill in the list.

Some owners rebuilt the pedal arrangement to the normal clutch-brake-gas arrangement for safety reasons.

My T30 has a central pedal arrangement.

It's not as big a deal as it's made out to be... I got used to it after driving for a few hours, and sometimes it feels much more instinctive and logical than the traditional arrangement.

Hello, everybody!

No safety problem, really! My 44 has a central throttle pedal too, and I' ll never change this arrangement. I saw the same disposition on type 35,37,38,40,44,49, some of them were original and had never been restaured.
I didn't saw this arrangement on any type 57... And I don't remember on type 46/50...
Bye, Eric.

I cannot conceive of a T35 with central throttle. It may even be impossible to make such an arrangement given the need for the compensator behind the brake pedal.I would need to see photos before believing this fairy story.
