I have a question : When should Bugatti's centenary be celebrated? Personally I believe it should be when the dye works at Molsheim was refitted as factory in, I believe, 1910. So, 2010 it is then. Unless you are of the opinion that the creation of the T10 heralded the dawn of Bugatti. And while we're arguing, let's redo that whole "did Ettore copy the Isotta?" thing. Once that's done, we must, of course, get back to the mystery wrapped in an enigma that is 51138. Over to you Michael. Half a league, half a league............... Too much? Johan |

According to factory records the first Bugatti was delivered in September 1909. Car 361. See "Bugattti Magnum" p. 538. |
