It is a quiet day today, here in the southern tip of Africa. In an hours time I will be going home, so while waiting I perused the official Pebble Beach Website's results list. Getting to Class J-1 European Classic Open 1922-1934 I looked at the 3rd place winner, and nearly wept. I quote :
