This link is incredible! I went in under Alphabetical (as opposed to Chronological) and picked Part 5 (P-R) to look for Prescott and the very first name on the list is Paarl. Small town near Cape Town - wine country, anyway I swear I had no idea they ever held a hillclimb, but apparently they did : 1939 and 1946. Amazing. You think that's impressive? Next entry is for Paddock Road, Cincinnati, Ohio USA; 1 hillclimb in 1906 (I did not know that either) followed by 4 entries for Paekakariki, Wellington, New Zealand (ditto). And just to make it truly interesting, the cars and their times are recorded, but no photos and no chassis numbers. Tonight Conway and Woods shall wail! Got to go. Johan. PS. Thanks Anjakub, and welcome. |

This list has been issued by my friend Hans Etzrodt in years if hard work, and published on Leif Snellman's phantastic "Golden Era" website. Hans works mainly with primary sources meaning period publications. The list is constantly extended and corrected. The French site is a non-authorized copy of Hans' database. |

The entire Leif Snellman site is incredible, I've only just scratched the surface. (Second link - I presume the first is the French copy) Some incredible articles on Ellie Beinhorn Rosemeyer, and the crash which killed her husband. Add this site to your Favourites, you will not regret it. Johan |

Leif's data base is by far the best and most accurate available, whether printed or online. It is not a simple copy of Sheldon's "Black Books" - which most online data bases are -, but nursed and corrected constantly over the years. Originally only designed for 1934-1940 recently 1933 and 1932 had been added (joint venture project between Leif and Hans), and 1931 currently "in the mill". |
