Thanks for sharing this article. Was really interesting to read and I must admit rather sad for me as well. That is not so pleasant to see after the interview with Paefgen. Here is the part from that article. That said, Paefgen wants to crush rumors that the Bordeaux will share parts with the new Bentley Mulsanne into dust. Says Paefgen, "A Bugatti saloon will have different dimensions and be a completely different concept. In fact it's hard to find any similarities at all [with the Mulsanne]."

I am that Bugattist Pur Sang as was mentioned in the article and I suppose that this is not right direction for Bugatti. I really hope with passion that Bugatti would be absolutely bespoke and unique in future, because any other way will dilute the brand imidiatly.

I really hope as well that other two concepts will be truly bespoke and unique supercars, true Bugatti cars Ettore could be proud of.

This new "Galibier" really looks like great. At last, the EB 112 will come into production, almost 20 years later and with a bigger engine (W16 - 7.993 cc instead of V12 - 5.995 cc). There is only one thing which I dislike in this car: The bonnet split into two parts.

I think that Bugatti produced great sports cars like the T43 or the T55; but also great tourers like the T57 and big luxury cars like the T46 and of course the T41. That picture of the Veyron and the Galibier together shows better the spirit of the original company than producing only super sports cars.

And yes, I think that there is a market for this car; people who look for a saloon car but find boring the trucks like the Rolls Royce Phantom. Of course, it is not difficult to reduce the performances of the Veyron engine to make it daily usable; the difficult thing would be to do just the opposite.

Does this car share many parts with the Bentley Mulsanne? That is not strange; just think of the costs of developing a new super car and the very small numbers which will be produced. That could be a problem only if the Bentley Mulsanne were a bad car and I think that Bentley is nowadays the real Rolls Royce; being the cars made at Goodwood only BMW with RR badges.

Yes, I am really happy seeing this new Galibier.

I would be absolutely happy if Bugatti will build true hypercar after Veyron and a Galibier to diversify model range, staying at the very top of the market. But I hope with passion that Bugatti will not end with building 4-door car only.

Great article. Thanks a lot for sharing it. I like the idea of making a new Veyron successor together with Galibier to diversify the model range staying at the very top of an automotive world.

Interesting fact that Paefgen did not mentioned any details of two other concepts this time, it would be interesting to see what these two remaining concepts are.
