Does anyone know, how much did the Veyron project cost?

the "refaudation" of BUGATTI Automobiles SAS Cost To VW From 1998 to 2005 (Buy the Marque, Buy the Bugatti Site in Molsheim, Restructuration of Chateau Saint Jean, built an atelier and bugatti Veyron Test etc) cost Around 500Million Euro..

PS Only The Restauration of the Chateau Cost more than 50Million €

I was confused, because, Jeremy Clarskon said, that the VW spends 5 million pounds on each Veyron model.

the hostory about 5 million for build one veyron is totally fake and infondate..

if this is true why bugatti build the "grand Sport"? for lost money.. I think No.. they have a big increase of money when arrive the grand sport..

i dont remember where i read about the 500million. but this is the most true information..

Complètement à coté de la plaque !

La totalité du montant budgeté pour le projet - tout compris - a été de 500 millions de francs et Bugatti gagne de l'argent aujourd'hui ! ( et même pas mal )
1 euro = 6,55957 francs.

Well, I think too, that the information about 5 million pounds on each car is fake.
For that money, you can build a space shuttle! :mrgreen:
The cost of 500 million € is much more realistic.

is you restored you pay more than you rebuilt from 0..

i read on a magazine or on a ste about the 50 million Chateau Restoration.. is not my fantasy..

That's around 75 million €. Is that the cost of the whole VW investment in the Bugatti brand, or just a Veyron project?
