thanks for the website--thats cool

so its about 270 mph and that is what I heard it was most likely able to do if it was not governed hopefully we will get to see what it can do balls out someday soon

In the future we are able to change a lot on the Veyron like " Much More Power" , lights and special made.

Since 2005 we know , Bugatti has and tested an engine of 1200 cv !

** America’s Shelby Supercars (SSC) is now officially the manufacturer of the ‘World’s Fastest Production Car’ thanks to its Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo supercar. The 1183hp (882kW) speedster set a new top speed record with an average Vmax of 255.83mph (411.76km/h), 3.11mph (5.01km/h) faster than the unofficial record set by the Bugatti Veyron. In order for the achievement to be official under the Guinness World Records’ guidelines, a vehicle testing for the top speed record must race down the course, turn around, and make a second pass in the opposite direction within one hour.

The vehicle’s ‘top speed’ is calculated by averaging the top speeds of each pass in order to negate any favorable road or weather conditions. On a closed stretch of highway in Washington State, the Ultimate Aero posted a top speed of 257.11mph (413.83km/h) on its first pass and 254.55mph (409.71km/h) on its return pass to set the new top speed record of 255.83mph (411.76km/h). The speeds were recorded using a series of satellites and several on board sensors, with independent firm Dewetron on hand to monitor progress. **

It looks like Bugatti wants not to compete with the Guiness.
Bugatti made an official test with the TUV in Germany.
Guiness and TUV are not measuring on the same way.
Question : is the TUV or the Guiness the best way to measure the speed ?
( And Guiness is private ! )

the veyron has enough hp to beat the Aero and I seem them doing it to prove that they are indeed the best and fastest production car

The measuring is one of the discussion inside the factory.
The second discussion is around what is called a serie car.
For Bugatti a serie car is a car you can drive everyday, all wheather conditions and not only a number of car produced.

Two way to see the problem.

I see them developing a special edition veyron that will have more power and it will be a limited number run maybe after the 300 are sold or maybe even before but this is just speculation on my part
