Steinhauser : "At Christmas 1909 Friderich was the only member of the team at Molsheim..... Ettore did not leave Muhlheim am Rhein until 13 January 1910."

Hucke/Kruta : ".. by Christmas 1909 Bugatti was in his new hometown where he would live for the next 25 years."

Everybody knows that Bugatti really began in 1910, Friderich remained in Molsheim to white-paint the walls.

The first machinery and equipment was not brought until January / February 1910.

Due to some strange mechanism, people always want to celebrate these centenaries as soon as possible.

Same with the millenium, the new millenium did not start until 2001!

If you wish, we can make 2010 the real centenary year for Bugatti, and do the festivities all over again. Maybe historically correct, but does it make sense?

Just take out your Bugattis as often as you can, all year, every year!

In the afternoon I will take my 100P for a spin!
