Yes it is really quite amusing the way ideas get sent around the world.It is true that the Henri designed Peugeot GP cars were the start of Millers love of twincams.And also true that Ettore had a very close look at the Millers which he aquired from Durey.[ I understand that even the camfollowers are interchangeable between the Miller and the Bugatti] I do however find it quite unbelievable that Ettore had not had a close look at a twincam engine before he got the Millers.After all the Peugeot GP cars were pre first war.This is a full twenty years before Ettore looked at the Millers.Some of what he copied was nonsenseThe cam followers for example have a rivited key which stops them turning [ they have a radiused head so must not be allowed to turn ] They will therefore wear badly in one plane.Quite daft.
