Yes on Tuesday the 17-02-2015 I got my first ride in a 1930 Bugatti T49 Grand Sport, it was an amazing feeling, after 30 plus years wanting a Bugatti. The max. speed limit here in New Zealand is 100 kms/hour or 60 miles/ hour. We were getting along at 55 miles/hour keeping up with the modern cars easily. Sunny, with the wind blowing through my hair. The car has an overdrive unit fitted, I noted that it dropped 500 rpm when it was engaged. I'll never forget that day. For the rest of my life. So you had an easy first ride! In my first ride, a speed of 140 km/h was attained, or even more! Good luck with finding your own Bug! |
