How do you get a Provenance Sheet for a Bugatti please? I'm looking at buying a 1929 Bugatti T44 at the moment. And I want to know its history and how many owners it has had too. Whether it is a matching number car and or has an original body too. Regards from Geoff.

Best thing to do is to call one of the experts, David Sewell is well known for many years, but there are others, like Laugier or Kees Jansen. They have lists of component numbers and the chassis number they belong to. Of course they charge for their services.

If you know the chassis number, some info has been made public, in the different Registers and in BugattiRegister.com.
Which T44 are you interested in? The blue saloon in the Netherlands?

The blue saloon in the Netherlands is already sold.

Another person to contact would be Mark Morris, he cooperates with David Sewell and is the registrar from the BOC.
I have found him very helpfull when a friend of mine bought a T44, and he is a very nice person.

You could also look up the chassisnumber at http://www.bugattiregister.com

Best regards, Jeroen

I would like to keep quite about the 1929 Bugatti T44 is, until I get it home to New Zealand everybody please? It's my real first chance to get my first Bugatti. I have found out it is a matching number car. So that's great. I only need to find out the history of the car and how many owners it has had in it's 86 year's. Regards from Geoff.
