This advertisement proves the limitations of my Bugatti knowledge. I cannot tell whether this is the genuine article or a replica. Nice looking car though, very shiny.

what is weirder
that they couldn't even be bothered to take recent shots of the car
look at the engine shot, the date is imprinted from 1996 & then look at the shot where you can see the street & the parked cars, none of those are recent cars
a bit strange for an add

On the Euro-classics website, this car is still listed, almost one year later, but there is no link.

Does anyone know if this car is still available, what price it is, what chassis number, and any of the history?

Dear Andrew:

This is chassis no. 4855, which was a 2.3 litre when these photos were taken in Salem, Massachusetts at the old location of Competition Motors, Ltd. (Donald Koleman's shop), not long before he moved the operation to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The car retains little of its original bits...replacement engine, replica gearbox and was with Sekiguchi in Japan last I knew.

Cheers,

Sandy
