A very interesting auction. But the most important part of the heritage, the Malmerspach Collection, was already sold in june 2008 to Bruno Vendiesse and Jaap Braam Ruben. I think we won't remember Fritz et Arlette Schlumpf by the stuff, that is going to be sold the 6th of July, but mostly by the very beautifull carcollection.

That Elephant is truly unique- it is the only genuine one out there. Would be nice to see it back on 41100 where it originally came from.
When the schlumpf brothers fled their factory they also took with them the radiator ornament from 41131. I wonder what became of that one.
