For sale is a Pocher Bugatti Type 50 engine kit in scale 1:8

The Pocher kits are known for their multitude of parts (about 350 for this kit) in various materials (metal, plastic, rubber, brass, etc).

Detail is very good. The crank can be turned, then the pistons (with 3 piston rings per cilinder!) move up and down. Also the valves are operated by the camshaft!

The kit is not too difficult to assemble. Basic tools and some patience are all that you need.
To superdetail the engine, I will also supply you with a CD with many pictures of the Bugatti cars, engines and many more. also on the CD are many 1000's of files that are Bugatti related, including short films, sounds and many photo's.

Picture 1 and 2 are the actual kit. Picture 3 is an example of a finished kit, built by me and superdetails by adding oil lines. (copper electricity wire)

Price: 65 dollar or 50 euro's. Can be shipped worldwide. Paypal accepted.

Hi Herman,
I just purchased one of these kits off ebay. I've done numerous Pocher kits as well as the real cars. However, this kit I was not aware of til I saw it for sale. How rare is it and when was production halted?
I too am one for super detailing.
Thanks
Dave

This one is not to be considered rare. Production stopped when Pocher went bankrupt, so must be just a couple of years back.

it is a nice kit to put together, and is very nice to super-detail. Some things can really be improved very simple.

I am working on putting an image database together, on which I will post a couple of very nice shots of the T50 engine that i photographed at the Schlumpf museum. They are also on the CD that I sometimes offer via Ebay. (and many, many more photo's, about 1200 mb of information in total... (on DVD+r))

I have these kits again, for anyone who is interested. 60 euros now (excl shipping). Of course a CD with instructions is included again.

And I have something special!!

I have a very limited amount of cast metal engine mounts, to replace the ugly pressed steel Pocher ones. They are shaped after the original, and look stunning.

Price for a Pocher kit and CD, and the new engine mounts is euro 80. (excl shipping).

There are very limited, and may never return!

I now have 2 of these kits left, I might keep one, so this is a last opportunity offer for 1 kit only.
