Claire Your bugatti is as beautiful as you. Not opposite! They are enthralling to continue with determination the passion of your father. He would be proud you. Congratulations, that inspires more respect with the woman than you are. Much more than admiration of the car. (translated from French by Babel fish on Internet) Christian |

This man kept popping up wanted his photo taken with the car, his name is Jay Kay, a pop star by all accounts Only joking, he was a very nice man with an enormous car collection himself. Here is the other lovely Bugatti at the show. |

If I am not mistaken that is my friend Andrew's Auburn Speedster next to your T57.You should have spoken to him ! He has an T57 Atalante.[ among other nice cars like a 1922 GP Sunbeam ] Here are a couple of photos of the Auburn which might interest Johan....pourquoi? because it raced in the 1936 South African GP with its wings removed, sadly killing a "native lady" who crossed the road thinking the race was over.Well the race was over for most of the cars but the Auburn was a long way behind.Still they beat out the damage and here it is looking like new. There was only one speedster in SA.They seem to have made one right hand drive car for each market.

Nice bum ! Andrew bought my old T35b as well. And I bought my T40 from him.He has a little chateau just down the road from me here in france.Did you know that JK had a Facel II like yours? sadly he pimmped it with very dark windows. It is now owned by MM so the tinted windows are a good thing really.LOL |

Small world isn't it ! Please say hello to Andrew for us when you see him next, he knows how much we loved his car. I did know JK had a Facel but didn't know he sold it. There was ment to be a Facel II in the V8 class at the show but it was withdrawn as it had blown its engine. |

In thirty years of working with facels I have never seen a facel II blow its engine.overheat yes due to the poor radiator design. |
